Produced by Roy Thomas Baker, it expanded the scale of Queen’s sound on songs such as “Ogre Battle”, “The Fairy Feller’s Master Stroke” and “The March of the Black Queen”. Though not their commercial breakthrough, it became a favourite among fans and laid important groundwork for the success that followed.
