It was the right turn at the right time, because with "Around The World In A Day" he didn't even allow to define it genre-wise. But that was risky in any case. But because this album was not only brave, but also had a lot of catchy tunes, he was not only forgiven, but even rewarded with his second US number 1. It is bursting with musical creativity and a never-ending wealth of ideas, which led to new worlds of sound, so to speak Prince's homage to "Sgt. Pepper ...." by the Fab Four.
